My Summer Vacation

Last summer vacation, I went to visit my grandparents who live in the countryside. Every day, I helped them with the farm work. I collected eggs from the chickens, fed the pigs and watered the vegetables. It was hard work but it was also fun because I learned a lot of new things about farming.

In the evenings, my grandparents and I would sit on the front porch and watch the stars. Sometimes we would play cards or tell stories. It was peaceful and quiet, very different from the noisy city where I live.

One day, we went fishing at a nearby lake. I caught a big fish and my grandparents were very proud of me. We cooked the fish for dinner that night and it was delicious.

Although I missed my friends and my computer games, I had a great time with my grandparents. I hope to visit them again soon.

我的暑假
