小学生英语故事：TheLionandtheMouse（狮子和老鼠）

Once upon a time, there was a mighty lion who lived in the jungle. One day, the lion got caught in a hunter's net and couldn't escape. He roared for help, but no one came to his rescue.

有一天，森林里住着一只强大的狮子。有一天，狮子被猎人的网困住了，无法逃脱。他吼叫着寻求帮助，但没有人来救他。

Meanwhile, a little mouse was passing by and heard the lion's cries. The mouse quickly ran to the lion and gnawed through the ropes of the net, setting the lion free.

与此一只小老鼠路过，听到了狮子的呼喊。老鼠迅速跑到狮子身边，啃断了网的绳子，将狮子解救了出来。

The lion was grateful to the mouse and said, "Thank you for saving me, little friend. I never thought someone as small as you could help someone as big as me."

From that day on, the lion and the mouse became good friends. They helped each other whenever they could, proving that kindness knows no size.
